My checklist:

-Visual inspection on the outside

After disassembly:

-Visual inspection of the winding
burnt / discolored areas, melted Nomex, fallen epoy coating e.g. on the pyros

-1000V iso test,

-n spec -check
so idle test
that changes as soon as something changes in the winding (internal winding circuit) or the magnetic circuit
and a no longer existing concentricity or fallen balancing mass can also

be recognized -Latching check:
This changes when something changes in the magnetic circuit and is often a first indication of magnetic damage - then you can take a closer look
with the magnetometer
-bearing check
smoothness and leaked grease
and prophylactic change.
I see them as consumables - even the most expensive bearing gets square balls with a hard nose landing and ceramic bearings are forbidden in this application anyway for this reason - they just break)

-cleaning
especially in the bell. The magnets pull any ferrous dirt or actuator components - see above! Innate.
They block the motor or destroy the magnets


Maybe I forgot something.
So there is a lot to do.
Half an hour is quickly spent!

If you fly your engine until you give up, you won't enjoy it for long at the limit.

Even in the real formula racing, the engines are completely overhauled every 3-4 races.

Or you can take an Amimotor - they don't need something like that, of course.

Erstens haben Sie nie die TEUERSTEN LAGER ausprobiert, also hören Sie mit dem Blödsinn auf, denn Scorpion hat NMB verwendet, das ist so ziemlich das Einfachste, was man sich vorstellen kann.
Kennt sich jemand mit Lagern aus? Die Schweizer stellen die besten her … MF! Sie werden nie ein SiC-Kugellager platt machen. Sie haben Ihren Verstand verloren und wissen offensichtlich nichts über Materialien wie Keramik oder SiC. Sie verwenden ein Standardstahllager in einem Käfig. Also hören Sie bitte auf, diesen Unsinn in den deutschen sozialen Medien zu verbreiten. Wissen Sie, wenn Sie 10 Motoren reparieren und nur 20 Lager bestellen, wissen Sie wirklich nichts über Kugellager. Sie kaufen sie in Chargen und prüfen sie dann selbst auf Konsistenz, Rundheit usw. Junge, Sie wissen nichts über Kugellager. Stahlkugeln übertragen auch Dreifaches die Motorwelle hinauf. Es hat definitiv eine Wirkung. Einfach die Welle einer Gleichstrommaschine mit Ferrofluid zu beschmieren, erhöht ihre Effizienz. Ihrem Post zufolge wissen Sie nichts über diese Dinge.

Echte Ingenieure können mehr, als Kupfer um Eisen zu wickeln, Bruder! Ich habe dir vor 7 Jahren gesagt, dass du nichts über Lager weißt, und du weißt es immer noch nicht. Sieh dir den dummen Beitrag an! Jedes Lager wird platt. Nicht in diesem schwachen Scheiß namens Skorpion. Du denkst, es ist eine Saturn-V-Rakete und das ist lustig!

That's what my understanding of E technology tells me. Apart from the fact that the magnetic flux through the iron core is also limited. And you can get into saturation here. Double the specific speed and a mechanical gearbox would of course have a charm here.
But who builds gearboxes in the order of 20kw and if possible also lightly. That's why I think the speed is a very good compromise. If you then get a little more cross-section underneath, it shouldn't hurt the performance

A 1 Turn Neumotors 8057 is .001 ohms and 477Kv . Ralph Okon the saturation amps is 1020. The maximum voltage for this Kv is 25 so understand that is 25.5kW

Lagerinspektionen und 1000-V-Test. LOL

Was für ein Idiot, von platt werdenden Kugeln zu reden, egal wie teuer die Lager sind. Definitiv nicht in unserer Hobbyanwendung. Bei einem Keramikhybrid kommt der 52100-Edelstahlring durch, bevor die Keramik- oder SiC-Kugeln platt werden. Er ist total high, aber ich lasse ihn reden und lasse die Leute in Deutschland und Amerika sich den Unsinn anhören, wenn sie wollen. Sie können Kugeln aus Siliziumnitrid (Si3N4), Zirkonoxid (ZrO2), Aluminiumoxid (Al2O3) oder Siliziumkarbid (SiC) nach dem Gebrauch entfernen und ich garantiere, dass sie genauso gut über eine flache Oberfläche rollen wie B4! Die neu geschliffene Verschleißrille befindet sich jetzt im Edelstahlring!

Anyone ever changed the bearing in a hobby motor should already know about something like this and its hardly the best definitely an upgrade from full stainless NMB's for alot of reasons not all mechanical...as I said before shaft triplen current isolation.

They are also 75,000 rpm capable. That goes really well in an outrunner you only expect 28,000 from. If they drop as little half an amp idle current in a small motor you might have really gained something also in efficiency

The orange seals are a stage 3 upgrade to NMB and only cost 30 dollars a set if you are going to do it that way but this black seal is a ceramic hybrid electric motor quality bearing which means it has to meet a certain quietness. The only way you can get that is have smoother more durable material with tighter tolerances. one of these is 60.00( 120.00 a set). Thats four times the cost of the orange seals, that are 3 times better than what comes in a scorpion OEM...


Show your friends when you have installed a pair in a Scorpion, Pyro or anythin else..Ralph

I hope you can see higher ABEC ratings is also obviously not everything.

  Die ersten Windungen sind drin.
  Bilder kann ich mir sparen, sieht eh nur aus, wie immer.
  Wenn ich jeden Tag 10 von den insgesamt 180Wd reinwerfe, werd ich nichtmal 3 Wochen für die "Neu"wicklung brauchen.
  Aber ich denke, ein klein bissel schneller wird's schon gehen. VG

See how the American manufacture caught you without responding to you.? If you claim 21 Kw at 18s lipo with your 5050 and the winding for the appropriate Kv the saturation is only going to be about 280 amperes

So keep quiet and stay with the dumb inverter ....Dont tell it you exceed that well into overload

I have to do it for the boys for them to see how it works because Ralph doesn't understand the manuals I send him...
