Its all in Fun for me because were good here in America and abroad.
I have a chance now to play a little so bear with me while I show the American boys some things I've been thinking about with these hobby motors. Im going to leave poor Ralph alone. That man is not ready for me.
Trust!
I got some cool things to check out so lets roll on and have fun. it doesn't matter what the goof troupe is doing or saying in Germany we a here! And so is the scorpion king powercroco.
He doesn't want to speak here directly to my brown face so it is okay . You see his little aryan boy signature in Germany...
The seasoned and accomplished engineers reading and WC pilots in America that solicit my work said they didn't know who he was anyway. So I'm sorry I dragged all the great modelers here through this. but when it comes to electronics and motor winding or building anything... Ralph Okon the big bad Md scorpion motor winder from Germany can put some respect on Clugh because he does absolutely nothing we can't but lie about his motors for a hobby. We have so much more enthusiasm and passion for the motors and making them perform better. He charges me as being a theorist and iI can live with that.
The difference is DZHAMEL has spent over 20000 dollars on you and you friends motors and planes trying to set a record and u dont think enough of him than to pot his motor with 100C construction epoxy and reload it with standard steel bearings that transmit and generate electrical noise and cost 16 dollars.
I would never do that.
Sincerely
Hubert.

Okay fellas that got some remote action. he wants to talk about it LOL. tell me this is not crazy......this remote action....
Another one is now almost finished.
Note on winding: even 9 is not divisible by 2.
The 650°C temperature-resistant seal will also be used again for this engine.
Of course, this is not really necessary, considering that the polyester varnish on the wire gives up at 250°C at the latest.
But the users are merciless.....
After all, the winding may still look pretty when the magnets have long since been boiled off.
What is very nice about this stuff is that the layer is only very thin and - as has been shown - remains really clear even under load conditions.
The stuff also doesn't really cause any problems when unwinding, as long as you put on gloves so that the sharp edges don't cut into your fingers. Appendixes

See I know you just wound another beautiful motor in different color enamel there's nothing on that additionally but the carbon fiber endplates. In rambling you are losing the rotor magnets to curie so slot wedges and leaving the bi filar wind would help. You can talk crazy if you want to.
You lose adequate field long before curie so your responsible for wasting the dumm esc with your overloaded motors....
Still are you going to pot that with endfest???
anyway on to some cool projects....

Some fun. The props are cool but more than I want to deal with at 30000 so I'm going to wind a small 100 volt 3 phase generator to load a prime mover out of this scorpion HkII 4020 to drive 3 120 volt 600 watt halogens. I can sink these halogens off each of the generator phases to a buss bar with mosfets and control the load on each phase variably with duty cycle. You can control that with Audino and a few transistors ill probably use parallax basic stamp or propeller chip microprocessor. You could rectify the three phase to dc if you wanted I suppose. This little scorpion can provide substantial emf braking on a prime mover and has a good rpm range.
Thank you
Hubert.

Stator Slitting of 12-Slot 10-Pole Concentrated Winding Motors
Y. Yokoi, T. Higuchi
Published in IEEE transactions on industry… 12 June 2018
Engineering
This paper proposes a design method of stator cores to modify the component ratio of space harmonics in the magnetic field due to stator windings for 12-slot 10-pole concentrated winding motors. The method inserts slit-like magnetic flux barriers in stator wound teeth. In fractional-slot concentrated winding motors, the magnetic field due to stator windings includes dominant space harmonics with a specific space harmonic that produces drive torque. These space harmonics give rise to undesirable effects that increase iron loss in cores and eddy-current loss in magnets. For 12-slot 10-pole motors with single-layer windings, the proposed method increases the driving space harmonic and decreases dominant detrimental space harmonics. This modification of the space harmonics leads to torque enhancement and efficiency improvement. The efficacy of the proposed method is determined by deriving the winding factor, estimating magnetic flux distribution and motor performance through a finite element method analysis, and demonstrating the actual motor performance of a prototype

The paper explains and you can see how close theory matches reality. Ralphs Flussperren (his copy) came after this.
The NDA with Polaris Laser goes that far back. The stack I want is bonded with C5 and I wanted Sura so the stack was 1800 dollars I guess I could get one in a 5050 of thin silicon steel. You have to use post assembly magnetization if you want to build the segmented rotor the easy and right way. You glue the demagnetized pm in and then zap them like I told the boy here reading....

LOL!

You cant feed a Black troll that is constantly teaching you

Some one can learn from this paper that a single layer does deliver the same torque for less amperage than the dual layer and only a percent less efficiency. This is probably because the pm loss is 3 times that of a dual layers which means it you go into Demag faster on the fringes. If you kill the 2 pole harmonic it is easily a stronger machine than a dual layer. It already is that its just not as efficient. One thing to note is its windings will be cooler as there is less loss in lower amperages for the some output torque.

Some one interested could also learn that an ABEC 5 grade SN134 hybrid orange seals don't have to cost a penny more than standard steel. So anyone not going that way in 10000 models and 1000 euro motors is fairly crazy. You can get 20 for under 70 dollars USD. A lot of 100 is only 350 dollars. I can source a single hybrid bearing in the appropriate size under 8 dollars. Its clear to me some of us dont have a clue.

The flux barriers are made of a non metal material or polyphenylene sulfide which you can print if you know what you are doing. Once annealed it can withstand 300C it is also another item that end plates can be made from. Printed with no filing needed just like the pyro 650. I guess it is irrelevant since scorpions motor winder doesn't wind on their 14 pole A series which certainly is a better proposal for an airplane than the modified helicopter motor/

Now my buddy in Germany can goto sleep now coz thats it for the "daily winders" news... if you are a professional getting your hands on the full paper should be pie.
You could learn quite a bit from it for what you are trying to do. It will also end the nonsensical banter about "theorist" since we have prototype in lab result that is destroys a conventional DL by a long shot.
Handle it....
