I am going to try out the center burner in my F-22 without lining the duct first. I can always add it later if I want to.

I have everything set as you suggested and then did a new bind. Throttle trim is set to low -129 and high at +100 on the monitor. When I plug in the battery I get the 3 notes and then I hear a low beep every 1.5 sec. When I move the stick past half throttle it beeps and then again as I lower the throttle past half it beeps again. Thanks for trying to help.

Did you do this to all three gear? About to soften mine up as well.Originally posted by TiredIronGRB View Post

For what it's worth department, I found that lubricating the shafts freed the travel up quite a bit. They seem to work much better. Watching them work during landings looks like they are working well.Originally posted by john2kx View Post

Found the same on my F4 and A10 but switched from using oil (which attracts dirt) to bicycle chain lubricant. Stuff dries like wax, resist slinging, and does not attract dirt/grit.Originally posted by adb2@suddenlink.net View Post

In case there's something else going on, ensure the throttle servo reverse hasn't been accidentally been clicked. In the monitor, the graph should go from left to right as you raise the throttle stick (going from -129 to +100). If that's OK, then that's not it. Next, I would go and check the 3 power wires that go from the ESC to the motor and make each one of them is solidly connected. The constant beeping may be an indication that one of those wires could be loose or come apart. The 3 notes could be the starting sequence to initialization but something is wrong and it won't go all the way and give you the tones for the number of cells you're running. You're running the 8S system, right? Is it in fact, an 8 cell ESC? The tone at 1/2 throttle may just be that the TX is set to beep at 1/2 throttle. To test this, turn on the TX and just move the throttle WITHOUT the plane being powered. If it still does it, then that's all it is. You can disable that in one of the timer menus.Originally posted by jwhpilot View PostI have everything set as you suggested and then did a new bind. Another thought - to eliminate something being wrong with the Rx, try a known good Rx. It can be a simple 6-ch. Just plug in the BEC and throttle to bind and a couple of the control surfaces just to see if the throttle and another stick works.

In case the obvious has been missed, you have been connecting the battery with the throttle at full to calibrate the ESC, correct? If not, do this and then lower it to off as soon as it beeps and it'll be calibrated and hopefully work.Originally posted by jwhpilot View PostI have everything set as you suggested and then did a new bind. Hey JLambCWU, did you get the 90mm inrunner centerburner ? Just wanted to check before I ordered. Guess they're out of stock for another week or so. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!Originally posted by JLambCWU View PostGORGEOUS sunset flights, with the 55th flight in 3 days completed just before it was too dark for even me to make out the jet with its camouflage grey scheme. The spectacular Utah winter background and ”Moon Climbs” made this a really fun flight to shoot.
I’ve only had the lower set screw on the nose gear strut come loose in 55 flights. This bird doesn’t just look fantastic, it is durable as well. I have thousands of flights on EDF jets now, and this jet takes the cake. Congratulations to the entire team at Motion RC for this fantastic product.
My bird is rocking the Centerburner LED afterburner from The RC Geek available here.
The original CenterBurner line of simulated afterburner lighting systems is the world’s best and most trusted simulated afterburner lighting system! Designed around a custom built LED light boards, it provides a center "glow" and flame effect like a full size jet aircraft afterburner!

So where did you get the new springs and type and size? I can see that the gauge of wire for the spring is smaller. I'll either cut them down like George did or put these in if I can find a match for them. Also, where did all the lights come from? Love to see video with new springs. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!Originally posted by EDJEFF View PostSwitched out to softer springs, so much more dampening it’s such a soft landing almost unbelievable.
The longer spring is the softer one.
