Ha! That's what I hear, but for the past 3 years there's been Gail force crosswinds from the east at the warbirds event. It's like an omen or something. :)Then, as soon as the event is over, it turns to nothing. It's funny watching the immediate turns into the wind

Check out these nav lights from FMS. Just came today. Rechargeable and no wires to mess with. Going to use the white strobes on the FW A-10 wing tips. These are bright as heck and would be great at dusk.

Bright enough that my wife said they were blinding and she wasn't kidding. I also received the Model Sounds Inc. system as well for the FW.

I have these lights installed on my FW Yak-130 and Mig-21. Been around for a while. Got mine from Brick City Hobby(US) Banggood sells them too as do others. Why not MRC? They're out there.

Have 3 modes: a very cool strobe effect, a slower blink and a solid on. I mix them up so it's a real light show. Very bright. The two sided tape that is cut to shape adheres nicely.

I really liked the FMS price but when I went to checkout the cost was $15.00 for 10-20 days Eek!

Tower carried them for a while then stopped.

Like the strobe idea for the A-10. I'd have to buy 2 sets to get 2 white strobes. Double eek

That's why I bought 2 sets one price shipping. This is my only hobby. I do play drums and sax, other than that nada. Come on FW A-10. Suspence is killing me.

Also, to you other jet pros and Alpha...on the Stinger 90 video that Rich Baker did, he noted that he preferred to have the control rods set on the servo arms at the close in setting (for more torque?). Do the directions call out the specific settings for the control horns and servo arms? Is that a common practice with jets? this will be only my second EDF, so just checking! Thanks, Rob

Any Thoughts on this guys? I guess my question is whether the torque from the setup used on the Stinger 90 is needed to gain the same sense of smoothness in the flight controls for other EDF's? I'm sure that this was thought of in all the preparation and testing for the A-10...hopefully specified in the instructions? Rob

Thanks Michael, great piece on the Hog. McSally is highly regarded in the A-10 world and has fought very hard to keep it flying and fighting.
