The next series of pyro 650 "growlers" as he call them are nearly complete for mike Padron. I'm about to run them
Only the winding heads have been encapsulated with boron nitride infused high temperature epoxy. I do the slots after the stator is boded to the carrier with 620 Loctite. I also tap the 2mm keyway and add a long 2mmx.04 cap head screw in place of the steel dowel. The stator is truly locked in place. The dry ceramic ABEC7 bearings have been treated with tungsten disulfide and a proprietary high speed oil. The 2nd bearing may also be secured with the 620. I hadn't decided yet but bearing retention is truly what 620 is for. .
Ill leave the boys recorded constants as usual but I can tell you this so far. It is identical to the last two I did for TDR's. My brothers and the Haters have already read that heli pilots review. He is more than satisfied and they landed perfectly on his desired Kv.
P650 13 Tuns YY in 17 AWG.
780 Kv
15.5 milliohms
.
When i run it ill give you the idle current and have already shown you video that that is what I measure. It isn't made up at all. That's the purpose of video confirmation. I pull the curtains back and let you see a lot more proof than the 2 editors in wunderworld.
To me this e-motor in size a capability is easily on pace with a dynamite Pylon .40 or 500 motor. in weigh power and rpm capability with about two more hp. Of course the e traction also has a much more linear torque line. I think it finishes right around 320 grams. At what it could really peak on 10 cells its more like a .65 cu in nitromethane 2 stroke marine engine.
She can easily peak over 5kW for much longer that 2 seconds...
