                    • Check out my tire retreading post. I fly my A-10 off hard surfaces and foam tire wear was rapid. Read my hot glue repair/retread post. Cheap/easy way to avoid replacing A-10 tires and flight proven to be a tip you will appreciate.

                                • Hi, I'm Andy and recently got my A-10. I went through this entire thread and decided to follow some of your advice. Started with preshading and airbrush. I'm happy with the result so far. Still waiting for the upgrade Parts from Motion RC. I love the size of this bird. • I did some airbrush work with my parkjets so I know how to brush. Preshading is new to me. That's what I've done with my A-10 so far.

I would say not visible from 100 foot.

Added some rivets with these tools

                                        • Not sure how the rivets look in the end but I guess after washing it must be ok because they will be covered with color.

I did not like the dark factory grey which looked also a bit blue. So I decided to use some light USAF grey and added some thinner.
Between the steps I took the parts outside to see the real effect with daylight. I think this is the key point as other's already said.

                                          I'm happy with the result.
